HARC Meeting – What Does it Mean to Love Your Neighbor?
How do we love our neighbors?
Most of the world’s religions hold to the idea of loving our neighbors. What does this mean to you? And how do you and your faith community live out this ideal? This meeting is an opportunity to share our teachings, practical application and experiences with one another. We’ll also come prepared with some community resources for practical help for people in need. Some things to consider before you come:
- What does your faith tradition say about loving your neighbor?
- Who is your neighbor?
- What are some small or large things you do in your own faith community to “love your neighbors”?
- What service projects does your house of worship offer or engage in?
- What’s going on in the community that could provide opportunities for service?
Thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for hosting us and providing lunch. A free-will offering basket will be available for contributions toward the meal. Please RSVP by Friday, April 17 at noon so we can provide our hosts with an accurate count for seating and lunch.
