SUMMARY:HARC Meeting: Lighthouse After-School Program
DESCRIPTION:This month’s program is the HARC Lighthouse After-School Program\, developed to serve a growing need for fun educational and enrichment opportunities for children after the school day ends. Lighthouse is a collaboration of several HARC member houses of worship (more are wanted!) and Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) that kicked off in September 2024.  Meet our new Program Coordinator\, Angela Yamashita; hear from Kim Duncan\, WCPS Community Schools Coordinator; and learn from Lighthouse Steering Team Leader Rev. Scott Winnette ways that you and/or your congregation can help with this important program. \nJoin us for lunch\, fellowship\, and the program. Zion United Church of Christ will host our meeting and provide the lunch with a free-will offering basket. \nParking is available in the lot to the north (right side) of the church; enter via the driveway on the other side of the parsonage. Some street parking is also available. The building is accessible. \nRSVP requested by Friday\, November 8 at noon so we can get a count for lunch. \n \n————————————————————————– \nHARC meetings are typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month for lunch\, except July and August\, with an occasional evening or weekend meeting.  The meeting location typically rotates among different houses of faith or affiliate organizations\, giving different congregations and organizations an opportunity to host.  Some meetings will be recorded for later viewing\, as we are able and the subject allows.
