DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, December 8 at 5:00pm Saint John’s Parish Choir invites you to celebrate God’s promise of salvation in Scripture and song as they offer the Advent Service of Lessons and Carols. This Service bids us enter a deeper preparation for the coming of Our Savior in power and great glory at his Second Coming and the celebration of His First Coming as the Holy Babe born in Bethlehem. The music of Palestrina\, Poston\, Bach\, Willan\, Lau\, White\, Manz and Dinda will be offered. Many of our favorite Advent Hymns and Carols will be sung with great fervor. An elegant reception follows the Service and a free will offering will be received to support the choir’s ministry.
